"Will buy again if I ever wear them out"
"I really love the guide line of boots and have the tall, short, and steel toe version of the Guides. I wish they made these shorter boots in steel or composite toe."
"Customer Service was GREAT. I own 2 pair of the hiking boots and 2 pair of the Everstep. These boots have SAVED my feet."
"Not as comfortable as the hard scrabble or don’t fit my feet as well but a very nice boot"
"The best built warm season sheep hunting boot there is!"
"I currently have their Hardscrabble Hikers, and LPC boots. I wanted to try something different. The Desert Guide is great, the fit was good tight out of the box, but became perfect within 2 weeks of 10 to 12 miles a day. They are very flexible and have no problems negotiating uneven ground, ladders, rocks, etc. the room is excellent even though I sized down from wide to medium. Both my other boots tended to stretch out a little making heavy socks a requirement. Not the Desert Guide. I have well over150 miles on there boots and the quality is impressive, they snug up tight, the insole is holding up great, and they clean up great, even after you cover them in mud and construction dust. A very nice boot overall."
"When this first boot came out it took a little while to break in. Well worth the wait though. New ones don’t seem to share the same problem. As a 17 year guide and outfitter for desert sheep, this boot is amazing. -Jake Franklin"
"Very comfortable boot, lightweight, good quality material"
"These are the best hiking boots I've ever owned. They fit as expected. The break in period is 50 miles which is a lot but you will get blisters if you don't break these boots in adequately. They can be resoled for $175. These boots are expensive but if you hike in rugged terrain they are well worth the price. Not terribly heavy but not light either."
