“I took my Mountain Extreme boots to Alaska for a mountain goat hunt last year. I have no doubt they helped save my life on the hike up and down that mountain. As I looked out over the Price William Sound climbing to the mountain crest, I prayed to myself to make it down safely. If the climb up was difficult, the climb down was treacherous with slippery surfaces and rolling rocks, each step felt like it could be my last. Adding an 85 lb pack to my back certainly didn't help the feeling but, as I looked down the shear cliff, I felt my boots gripping the surface and helping me stay steady. Harvesting a Boone and Crockett mountain goat at the top helped too. I will never take a mountain hunt without Kenetrek boots on my feet!”
