“I recently had the opportunity to go to Alaska on a caribou trip with 3 friends. Our trip was unguided and I have never had the opportunity to be on a hunt other than whitetail deer here in Nebraska. My buddy has multiple pairs of Kenetrek boots so I took his advice as I am new to this. I was skeptical at first because of the cost. I ordered them from Cabela’s, and once I received them I was just blown away at their quality. I started to wear them and break them in prior to my trip and they were the most comfortable pair of boots I have ever hunted in. When we made it to our tent camp in Alaska, the boots outperformed themselves. I have never walked on anything so difficult as the tundra in Northwest Alaska. I could not have done it without my Kenetrek boots. I was fortunate to take a very nice caribou approximately 2 miles from camp. I do not think my ankles and body would have done as well with the packing and hauling of my animal without my Kenetrek boots. I am a physician by trade and was so impressed with the quality and workmanship with my Kenetrek boots that I will never buy another brand of boot again.
