The Northern features our famous K-Talon™ outsole with an open tread pattern, deep relief and specialized "K" lugs for multidimensional traction. "Really nice boot, well made, sturdy uppers, nice tread not to aggressive as to holding extra snow. Had to rub in some leather conditioner in the beginning to soften them. But overall should last for many years. Like the idea you could have them repaired."
"Initial impression: great quality, love the liners, fit great. Wore them out to plow sister’s driveway, about 3/4 mile long, 10” snow with a wind chill of -7. Hands were frozen. Feet were ok. Not toasty as I was out there for about 3 hours. I’d definitely buy them again."

"The fit was good The upper eyelets are quite small and dont hold the laces great. Would like to see larger lace grabs on upper half and waxed laces , but still warm and comfy just wish they were easier to keep done up!"
