"I do not like the lack of options in women's sizing. Just sizing down 1-2 sizes does not work overall because it is not just about foot length but also leg length and calf with. Because I am shorter, 5'4", I need an appropriate length of upper. This men's boot upper comes up too high on my calf which then doesn't fit appropriately in width. I was disappointed that the pac boot with laces comes in women's sizes but the zip option did not. Overall, then men in my life give rav reviews about this company but I dislike the limited options in appropriate boot sizing for women. In the mens outdoors clothing brand, when they first came over to womens items, the saying went "Pink it and shrink it". . . that quickly failed since you actually need different shapes and cuts to fit women, not just "smaller. " So you cannot just go "smaller" in boot and call it good for a woman. As far as insulation goes, they are warm and I very much like the riding sole/heel. I do not like the pointed toe, you can't make a giant chunk of rubber look like a cowboy boot just by making it pointed. Make the sole and heal stirrup safe without trying to point the toe, as I feel like an elf when I walk around."
