"I have had 4 pairs of Kenetrek Mountain Extreme boots over the last 10 years or so and have liked them. The sole has worn out in the toe area before any other trouble. For some reason the Guide Ultras are hurting my Ahcihlies tendons. Perhaps because they are so stiff?"
"I wear these boots 365 days a year. I have a bad ankle that needs support and these boots do exactly that. They are super stiff but very comfortable. I get 2 years out of them doing construction work and hunting in the fall before wearing the sole slick. As long as I keep them on my feet, life is good.
